About my style

​

I'm a portrait photographer and am passionate about

capturing the natural spirit and enthusiasm of children.

I live in Perthshire, Scotland and have four children who,

with the help of their friends, have been

eager little models over the years.

​

I have been photographing schools, nurseries,

families, children and informal weddings

professionally since 2008. 

​

My style is very relaxed and

I actively discourage 'posed' photographs!

As you can see from my website, I love gaps in the teeth,

wind in the hair and wellies on the wrong feet!

​

I use natural light and shoot 90% of my sessions outside

which allows children to simply be themselves.

They can stroll through a field, pick dandelions

or jump over a stream,

and I get to have fun photographing them having fun!

Most of the time they don't even notice 

that they are being photographed.
